I have an art related question: I have been commissioned to do a drawing on a cow skull with the outside of the skull outlined in a turquoise wash. I was wondering what would be the BEST way to go about preserving the skull after it has been drawn on and the ash applied? I have found VERY little guidance on YouTube and Google. Can you offer any advice? FYI...I would like to use OIL paints but not sure if I would go over it afterwards with a glaze? Thank you for your time!

Hi Glenda! Nice to hear from you. Are you the "other" Glenda Garrett that paints on feathers & sculls etc? if so i have also admired your work too. We both obviously share a love of the natural world. Thank you for your compliments. Regards Glenda Garrett

Hi Glenda,
Nice works you have. I also live in Australia - Melbourne suburb. much colder than Queensland,
I came across your site because I wanted to use my surname de Gabriele but found it already taken.
Can you tell me where "DeGabriele Originals" came from.
I wanted to do a family tree site and was curious if there is a connection?
